So much nicer than my broken plastic gate that was always flopping around and unpleasant to look at and hide This is good looking and almost invisible. I got it mostly for dog control and it is wonderful and good looking and always where I put it last! My son put it up for me. I didnt hear and mumbling, swearing or complaining so it couldnt have been difficult to put up!

We were looking for a solution to keep our dog out of the livingroom, but not keep my Grandmother with a walker locked out. The angle of divide between rooms was awkward, and gates held up by tension were just too much of a pain to put up and down. The one with a gate that swung was stressful because my poor Grandmother kept tripping on the bar along the bottom, and the opening wasn't nearly wide enough for my pregnant hips. This solution is different. The gate rolls up and isn't a tripping hazard when you don't need it closed, but you can close it quickly without having to align the length of a stick, or worry about tripping over a bar of death. It hasn't been tested out for impact in our house, as our dog isn't even 10lbs., but i recommend it to anyone who needs a visual separation that isn't a door. -
